Magic Dust for the Reindeer

Santa is working alone in his office for a couple of hours this morning, going over the map of the world and planning out his delivery schedule.  So while Santa is busy with that, I strolled over to R.H. to check in with Elroy and the reindeer.  Oh boy, are the reindeer excited!  Elroy told me that they have been doing great with daily exercise and activities.  Now we just need to make sure we have all the magic dust we need for the big flight.

But not to worry!  While we were in the forest gathering firewood, we stopped at Chrystal Caves where gatekeeper Eupha lives.  Eupha protects a precious tree and from this magnificent sparkling tree we are able to gather the magic dust we need to help Santa and his reindeer on their long journey around the world.  Magic dust helps the reindeer fly at immeasurable speed and enhances sight, sound, and accuracy so that they don't run Santa's sleigh into a chimney or something else.  So here we go!  Just two days until Christmas!  Are you ready for the big night?

Santa makes a message for Katy

Oh my gosh!  This last weekend was really busy and now begins the BIG push for Christmas!  But us elves, we will stay strong until every boy and girl has presents delivered from Santa.  Did you know that while Santa is out on his big red sleigh, the elves celebrate?  It's hard to believe, but even after an exhausting week of hustle and bustle here in the workshop, us elves are ready to stay up and party until Santa returns to the Northpole.  It is tradition!

We've been recording and sending out messages from Santa on CD Productions and I hear they have been arriving as scheduled.  Have you sent Santa your letter yet?  Just yesterday, he recorded a special message for a little girl named Katy.  She is six years old and loves animals.  Santa told her that he's glad to hear she takes such good care of her pets and that she shares her toys with her little brother.  Katy asked Santa for a puzzle game about animals.  I bet she will find it under the tree on Christmas morning.

There are only 4 days left until Christmas and Santa is waiting to make a special CD for you here.  It's a gift that won't be forgotten.  Browse our web site to find out more!

Did Emma Say Yes?

I have some great news to share.  I told Santa about it yesterday and he let out several chuckley "ho ho hos".  After that, he went on and on about how he and Mrs. Claus met.  But back to Wednesday night.  I was successful in getting the note to Emma's desk and then spent the rest of the afternoon with butterflies in my stomach.  At 7 o'clock, there I stood under the mistletoe, waiting for her to arrive.  I held a special ornament I made for her in my hand.  A few minutes passed and I was starting to get worried she wasn't my secret admirer, but then I saw her smiling face come out of the office and knew that everything was ok.  Mistletoe is known for kissing, but I just simply gave her the ornament and asked her if she would go to the holiday dance with me.  She said yes!  And she really liked the ornament too.  We walked right over to the tree and she picked a branch to hang it on.

Last night, we all gathered together again for another movie.  This time we watched Elf.  That movie is so funny!  Emma sat next to me until it was over and we shared popcorn, eggnog, and some caramel apples.  I noticed Santa and Mrs. Claus all nestled snug in their big chairs and thought to myself how nice it is to have someone special to share all the wonders of life with.

Someone Special for Elfy

There is a certain little elf working in Santa's Christmas Workshop that I happen to be very fond of.  We've been friends for a while, but today I found a red envelope and inside it read:  Merry Christmas Elfy.  Hope things are going well with Santa in the studio.  From Your Secret Admirer.

Ok, I am pretty sure it's from her!  Santa has been giving me some guff over who I am asking to the holiday dance next week.  I think he already knows I want to ask Emma.  Ah..."Elfy and Emma".  Has a nice ring to it don't you think?  I suppose I better ask her soon before someone else does.  Hey, I have a great idea!  I will write her a note and leave it in the craft department where she works, asking her to meet me under the mistletoe tonight.  That is perfect!  Uh oh, now I am getting a bit nervous.  Sorry to run, but there's a letter to write and I need to sneak it onto her desk at three while she's on break.

Ornaments go Smash!

My first bit of news today is that we announced our winner of the Free Santa on CD.  Congratulations to Nicole P. from Osceola Indiana.

As you can probably imagine, things get quite crazy in Santa's Workshop sometimes.  Santa was on the microphone in the studio when I heard a loud crash yesterday.  I took off my headphones and went to see what the clatter was all about.  And there it was, one of the Christmas trees was lying on the ground with a couple of elves stuck under it.  A big group of spectators were standing around them holding their bellies and laughing hysterically.  What caused the tree to fall?

I soon found out that Eastan and Emad were fooling around with the leftover popcorn strands, deciding to hang them across the workshop and use them as zip lines.  The problem was that their zip line maze ran too close to the tree.  Perhaps they had a few too many frosty beverages because they ran right into each other!  Little Emma said when they collided; they both went flying into the tree, causing it to topple right over.  Oh my goodness!  It took a while, but the elves up righted the tree and cleaned up all the smashed ornaments and lights.  It's a good thing there are replacements in storage.  Other than a few small bruises, Eastan and Emad are ok.
