Santa's Sleigh Weighs A Lot!

Wow!  There are so many people writing to Santa and trying to win that FREE CD.  Just so you know, today is the final day to enter for a chance to win.  For your chance, click here.

Today the reindeer are going to fly a model similar to Santa's Sleigh.  Since there are only 15 days until Christmas, it's important that they start practicing for the big night. The sleigh, toys, and Santa himself weigh about 360,000 tons.  That means that the toys themselves weigh about 343,000 tons.  It would take thousands of elves piled into the sleigh to mimic the weight of all those toys, but the village comes together to add as much weight as possible in preparation for Christmas Eve.

Elves from all over the Northpole meet at Reindeer Headquarters to help make sure everything is going to run perfectly!  There is a small risk of safety, but there is nothing more important than making sure Christmas goes off without a hitch.  Our reindeer have been working out and eating a healthy diet, so they are ready to fly!  Did you know that our male reindeer are about 46 inches tall and weigh over 300 lbs?  They are very strong and with magical dust, can do amazing things.  Ok, I'm off to hop into the sleigh with all the rest - wish us luck!

Only 3 Days Left - Enter to Win!

I must say, things have really been picking up over the last week at Santa on CD Productions!  After all, it is December and everyone wants to get going on their letters to Santa, shopping, and decorating.  Santa has been working really hard through the days, making sure each CD message is perfect for families, children, grandmas and grandpas, anybody who deserves a special reminder of how they brighten the lives of others.

We've created this web site so you can read about the Northpole, get CD message ideas, hear demos, send an email to Santa, and much more.  But did you know that you can enter to win a FREE CD?  One lucky winner will receive this unique gift from Santa with up to four personalized messages!  But there are only 3 days left, so enter here, share with your family and friends, and good luck!

Our Trip to the Forest

Friday morning we set out early to trek across miles of snow and ice.  I helped Elroy harness the reindeer to each log sled and then we were on our way to get more firewood for the village and Santa's Workshop.  Elroy drove one sled and I drove the other with some of Santa's little helpers on board.  Since they know how to work at super sonic speed, it wouldn't take long to get the job done.

Once we were deep into the forest, the elves got to work.  They sawed and chopped the wood into piles and then quickly put them onto the sled.  Once it was all loaded and the tools were packed away, we journeyed back to the Northpole with enough wood to burn throughout the year.

When we got back to the village, we were all greeted by Elise, Erv, and Essie.  They invited us to the bakery for some peppermint tea to warm us up.  They even made lunch for us!  Afterwards, Elroy and I led the reindeer back to R. H., brushed and fed them.  The reindeer know how much they are appreciated.  We made sure to lay a new bed of straw down for each of them.  After a long day, I am sure they slept very well through the night.

We Love Movie Night!

During December, Santa's elves get together every Thursday for movie night.  Santa and Mrs. Claus join us too.  They sit in their red and gold velvet chairs and we sit around them on a large, soft area rug.  Some of us like to snuggle in our sleeping bags and others relax closer to the fireplace.  It's very warm and cozy.  We get out the feather pillows, blankets, hot chocolate with marshmallows and bowls of buttery popcorn.  What a delight!

Tonight we are watching The Santa Clause which is one of my favorites.  I better get to the den because the movie starts in just ten minutes!  I hope you and your family enjoy some great Christmas movies too this season.

Over the Weekend

Over the weekend, the elves all gathered in the conference room to go over task lists, important holiday details, and schedules to keep everybody on track throughout the month of December.  We also appointed a group of elves to oversee each committee and they will report back to Santa daily.  On Wednesday, we will be meeting again to discuss the annual trip to the forest for firewood.  Sounds like we're heading out with the reindeer early Friday morning and will be back to the village before nightfall.
