Today Santa and I were going to work on some of the recordings for Santa on CD Productions. Santa woke up today with a bad cold. His nose was all stuffy and he sounded funny. I told him we could reschedule for when he gets better.
Mrs. Claus is making him her special Chicken Noodle Soup that makes everyone feel better. I'm sure by tomorrow he'll be ready to record!

Today I took a walk over to our Reindeer Headquarters (R.H.) to see how the reindeer were doing. When I arrived at the barn, I could hear the elves scrambling around searching for something. When I asked them what they were looking for, they told me Dasher's harness was missing! Uh oh. I hope they find it!
Otherwise, the reindeer looked great! They must have just gotten their coats brushed because they were looking extra shinny.

Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 10:34PM Tonight Mrs. Claus made a HUGE dinner for all of the elves. That's no small feat, there are over 150 elves working around here!
This evening we all gathered in the big dinning hall at the super long table lined with perfectly sized elf chairs. With Santa sitting at one end of the table and Mrs. Claus at the other, we feasted on the delicious meal that Mrs. Claus spent all day preparing.
Earlier this afternoon, a couple of the elves put up the giant Christmas tree in the corner of the dining hall. This tree is enormous! Thousands of lights are now twinkling against the green branches and every elf has their very own ornament hanging on the tree. Strands of popcorn and candy canes fill in all the other spaces. It was so pretty tonight while we were eating dinner, it really put us all in the spirit.
After we cleaned our plates, washed dishes and put everything away, we all gathered near the fire place to listen to Mrs. Claus read our favorite Christmas storybooks.
What a great evening, I can't wait for Christmas!

Santa held the annual Christmas Planning meeting today. Oooo, I'm so excited! This is going to be a GREAT Christmas!
I can report that the big focus right now is on getting information about all the children around the world.
Have they been good, bad, trying hard in school? You know, all that stuff Santa needs to know. Our Research & Development Department is incredibly busy! Let me tell you from an inside perspective, it is a huge part of what happens here. I mean, this information is so important since it's the basis of what children receive for presents this year. Can you image a sweet little kid not getting presents because his name got mixed up with the bully's down the street!? No, way. It simply can NOT happen, and it doesn't because our elves are really good at their jobs.
Other areas are starting to pick up too. More to come....

Santa on CD is new for 2011 and I decided to keep an online journal about what's going on around here this year. I named it Elfy's Corner because my desk is over here in the corner and this whole corner area is where Santa on CD Productions performs its magic!
It's November now and things are really going to get super busy. Santa has our annual Christmas Planning meeting tomorrow. Will report after meeting....
