Great Team!

The first ever Santa on CD Productions season is going great!  Santa and I have been working on recordings and getting them mailed out right on time!  Each order is so precious that we make sure to get Santa in the studio within two days of ordering and record a very special message perfectly unique for everyone.  We're a great team, Santa and I!  This is the best job in the whole workshop!

Toys by the millions!

Right after lunch today I wandered over to see how the toys were coming along.  A magical amazing process.  The best way I can describe it is that it's almost like walking into this new dimension where everything is moving in super sonic speed.  There are elves sewing, elves wrapping, elves on computers, elves painting, elves building, elves everywhere!  It's like hitting the fast forward button on your remote times 1000!

These elves have a lot of energy!  Myself, I am a diligent and hard working elf but I'm afraid the super sonic speed is not one of my qualities.  Just like people, elves are different too.  We're all good at different things and we each have our own job that fits us perfectly!

From what I saw today, the toy making department is in full swing without any glitches.  Looks like it's going to be a super full sleigh for Santa and the reindeer this year.

Demos with Santa

Santa and I spent all morning working on recordings for Santa on CD.  One of my favorite things to do is spend time with Santa.  He's cheery and warm and makes each one of us feel so special.

I was so excited for our session today that I stayed up last night working on some new sound effects.   Santa and I were like a magical team creating recording after recording.  Towards the end of our time today, I asked Santa if he'd like to record some demos so we could share them on our web site.  He thought it was a great idea!  Click here to listen to our new demos.

We'll have many sessions coming up but can definitely report that our first session for 2011 went terrific!  I can't wait for the next one.

Guess what!?

Remember how Dasher's harness was missing last Friday and the elves were looking all over R.H. (Reindeer Headquarters) for it?  Over the weekend they searched in the equipment shed, through the huge piles of straw, up high, down low, over here, over there...and no harness anywhere!   This morning, Elroy (he's the one in charge of R.H.) had to go to Santa about this missing equipment.

Right after breakfast, Elroy broke the news to Santa.  He said he was really nervous to tell him because he felt like he made such a huge mistake. Santa stood up from his big red chair and walked over to Elroy.  He knelt down, put his hand on Elroy's shoulder and said...

"Dear Elroy, I know you all tried very hard to find it.  Sometimes things get misplaced but I like to think of it this way, it is tucked in a place that we simply have not looked yet.  I am certain that if we all work together we will find Dasher's harness."

As always, Santa knew exactly what to do.  Santa organized each of the 150 elves working around Santa's Workshop and we all began looking for Dasher's harness.  Even Santa joined in!  After about 30 minutes, we heard Santa shout out in his cheery voice, "Ho, Ho, Ho!" and we all came running to the pole to see what was going on.  Oh yeah, the 'pole' is our meeting zone here at Santa's Workshop.  It's a red and white striped pole that sits directly on top of the world, the real Northpole!

When we all got there, we saw Santa holding Dasher's harness!  It was found!  What fantastic news, but you'll never guess where he found it.

Santa had completely forgot that after last year's big Christmas delivery, one of Dasher's jingle bells fell off while the reindeer were flying over the ocean and so he asked Mrs. Claus if she would add a new one in its place.  That's right, Dasher's harness was in Mrs. Claus's sewing room all along, just waiting to be repaired.

What a great day!
